Using fabric to mediate the body, showing only a trace, creating a moiré effect. When thinking about bodies in 2016 one of the most noticeable discourses is this notion of non-binary gender, reflecting on this through the use of colour, the black and white object is broken into an endless spectrum of possibilities. Projecting the film on an entire wall collapses the space and suddenly there is no solid end, adding to the optical illusion. The viewer has an agency to re-write the narrative for themselves, finding a foothold in an infinite terrain, drawn in by the lure for the moving gaze.
